APPLICATION AND ITS SCOPE

   The wellpoint installations IgE-81 are designated do dewater construction excavations in grounds of small or medium permeability (permeability coefficient "k" below 40m / 24 h).
    This installation can be used as an independent installation or installation supporting other dewatering intakes, in a one or two layer system. With one layer of wellpoints it is possible to lower water tables down to 4m, with two layers: down to 7m.

CHARACTERISTICS

    Compared to conventional designs the wellpoint system IgE-81 is characteristic of:
  • Lower amount of labour for assembly and disassembly of the installation (connecting wellpoints and collectors as well as smaller quantity of components);
  • Easier transportation requiring less work (light material of wellpoints and less components);
  • Long life of wellpoints, enabling their multiple use (the material of wellpoints is corrosion-resistant and low temperature-resistant, moreover, due to the simple design of the filter its proper cleaning is easy);
  • Two kinds of casing pipes of two different lengths included in the set, which simplify the installing of the wellpoint under various ground conditions and at any depth.
